Bagel Plus

The place is good and so were the Bagels. . The staff at front counter were also very pleasant and helpful. However, the server named Donna was awful and rude. We initially decided to take away the bagel. However, my wife who is in her 9th month of pregnancy felt tired and decided to sit down and eat. The lady at the counter was Ok and said it was fine and asked us to have a sit.Having said this, the server didn't seem to like the idea. She must have asked us at least thrice if we were dining in or had ordered an out and that we couldn't sit if it was a take out. How ridiculous is this.She then again walked past us and spoke to someone in the kitchen loudly about us sitting. That was it . . We decided to leave. People like her ruin the place and I am sorry, wouldn't recommend this place to anyone for such appalling customer service.

Some staff good, some need to retire. Food products are excellent.

Amazing value and great Jewish comfort food.

Huge variety and average food. Only drawback is there is one old mean lady that works there. The rest of the staff is really friendly.

Double fried egg on a twister with all the veggies, salt n pepper, was quite nice. Needed guac but hipsters must suffer for their art. Super max level busy at 2pm on a thursday

Delicious menu items in restaurant area. Reasonable prices. Awsome breads and pastry in bakery. If you feel like a yummy bowl of soup, blintzes, lox on a bagel etc. Miss Silverstiens rye bread? Try their rye with kimmel as a loaf or bagel. Just add pastrami. Yum!

We come here a few times a year. And it is always a pleasure to be here. It could have been updated but it is what it is. I like food. Everything tasted good.

I just had the most delicious Greek salad at bagel plus. My server was amazing and I left so satisfied with my experience. Can’t wait to go back for another tasty dish!!

The challah bread buns are as light as a cloud, the bangles unlike anything I've had in Toronto. Busy little plaza but worth a visit.

I got yelled at for eating food in the restaurant that I paid for at the restaurant by what I assume is the owner because apparently TAKE OUT IS TAKE OUT AND TABLE SERVICE IS TABLE SERVICE. I checked on my way out and I didn't even see any signs saying so. Nice staff but trash owner/manager

Great food and service

Staff was pleasant when I was there and they got me fresh baked goods. Loved the cheese danish and chocolate buffalo. The cheese danish was still warm.

Great family owned bakery. Fresh bread and bagels are available at all times. There is a big menu to choose from while you sit with great coffee. There are no unhealthy meats served here. No bacon, ham or sausages. The staff are fast and kind. Everyone is working hard here. Highly recommend the tuna salad and chopped egg sandwiches. They are delicious!

Very average overall. The baked goods are average in quality and need a bit of a tube up. I had several times baked goods that lacked taste. The coffee is great. The staff is very busy with multiple tasks and one has to wait longer than necessary.

Great bakery / restaurant. Great selection of baked choices from breads, buns, to cakes and desserts. Restaurant has more of a breakfast menu. Free parking in the plaza, in the front, also close to the Bathurst and Sheppard corner.

Best bagels period. Friendly waitress and comfortable dining area. I will be coming back.

So mean old lady staff. When you sit you have to but minimum order in order to stay inside. And my son holding drinks not from them drive them out of the shop. They said not allowed to bring drinks . And they forcing you to buy anything again and again while you’re inside the shop.How can you have a good appetite to eat there if you see this kind of attitude. Too bad

On the expensive side for the restaurant bagels are pretty good though. Greek salad was large and tasted good!

Vegetarian place, has bakery, sandwiches and few cooked dishes like vegetarian lasagna. Service is kind and usually fast. Good for an on the go lunch/dinner

My mothers special place, vibrant, good food, met my mother for mother's day brunch and didn't talk politics, awe ,a wonderful day . And they have a bakery too

Some of the prices are a bit of a setback, but they have plenty of delicious baked goods - and almost too much poppy seed in their strudel (is such a thing even possible!?). - Mimi's Cake Tour

I have an affinity for bagels. They had good bagels, the bagel love persists. I appreciate this.

A local institution in this community. Consistent, simple and basic comfort food. Great bagels and adequate food. Not a place for people looking for a creative and different brunch experience. Comfortable, casual and consistent.
